The EasyESP-1 IoT Prototyping Board for ESP8266 w/ USB-to-Serial Converter ESP-12E is a development and rapid prototyping board specifically designed for the economical, WiFi-enabled ESP8266 microcontroller. This board is particularly suitable for those who are new to this field. The board comes with a pre-installed onboard USB-to-Serial converter, eliminating the need for any additional hardware to download application firmware to the ESP8266 chip.

The ESP module incorporated in this development board is the ESP-12E. All the I/O pins are conveniently broken out to 0.1 inch female headers for easy access. They are also connected to standard Grove/Crowtail connectors, allowing for the connection of Grove/Crowtail sensors and other compatible modules. The board also features a 180-point breadboard, which further simplifies the process of experimenting and testing of external circuits connected to the ESP8266 peripherals.
