Description

  • Elecrow 1-In Water Flow Sensor
  • Features a rotating impeller, an external casing and sensor, and a hall-effect sensor
  • Activates the magnetic core to trigger switch action speed
  • The hall-effect sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signals
  • Detects flow in water dispenser or coffee machine

The Elecrow 1-In Water Flow Sensor consists of the magnetic core, rotating impeller, external casing and sensor, and a hall-effect sensor. When water flows through the rotor, rotor rolls, it activates the magnetic core to trigger switch action speed changes with a different rate of flow.

Fine, but wires might need reenforcing

Performs as indicated. You will need to ground-truth the hall sensor counts to verify the output acurately reflects the flow through the sensor. While the wires enter the sensor through a resin sealed passage, they should be re-enforced so as not to break if moved about too frequently. The connection end is not waterproof, so some engineering ingenuity is required (possilby involving a 3D printer and more potting resin).
