The goBILDA 1309 Series Sonic Hub 6mm Bore is a versatile component that can be utilized with 6 mm round shafting, 6 mm OD standoffs, spacers, and even a 6mm D-shaft. The hub weighs 14g and has a clear anodized finish and is designed to cater to various use cases, whether it is required to clamp onto a D-shaft or any other object, while still maintaining the ability to adjust the hub independently of the shaft's flat location.
Like all Sonic Hubs, this particular model is balanced and equipped with two pinch bolts to enhance the clamping force, all the while maintaining a sleek profile. It is designed to mount components to a 6 mm diameter shaft, making it a valuable addition to the goBILDA ecosystem, which includes a wide range of parts that can be directly bolted to this hub. These parts range from wheels, gears, sprockets, track sprockets, timing pulleys, round belt pulleys, and winch pulleys, to control arms and more.
The Sonic Hub's innovative design ensures perfect balance, eliminating the risk of introducing vibrations into the build, even in high-speed applications. The patented design ensures a firm grip on the shaft without causing any damage, and it can be easily released when disassembly is required.
