The IR Light / Proximity Sensor is a little IR proximity and ambient light sensor breakout board, and can detect proximity within a range of about 20cm (200mm). Proximity data and ambient light level data are collected over I2C interface. The Board gives 3.3V power to the chip as well as 5V to IR anode and board gives the distance from the object over I2C interface.
