Litter-Robot 2 Motor Assembly

My Litter Robot was operating very slowly, sometimes not at all. I replaced the control board, but that didn't fix it. I bought this motor, installed it, and now the machine works perfectly. I disassembled the old motor and found the brushes worn down to the nub. The new motor works great and my Litter Robot is now like new.

Replaced the entire motor, cable and PCB. Very easy with directions available online. Works like acharm and ready for another ten years of rolling cat dung.

As with most things we buy in today's world, there is always a part that is basically planned obsolesce. My motor worked for two cats for 4 years. Once it stops, you have to replace it. I figure I'll get another 4 years out of it. Replacement is pretty simple provided you have a basic toolkit.
