The Motoron M2S24v16 Dual High-Power Motor Controller Shield Kit for Arduino w/ Connectors is engineered to manage two high-power DC motors from an Arduino or a board compatible with Arduino through an I²C interface. It accommodates motor supply voltages ranging from 6.5 V to 40 V and can deliver continuous output currents up to 16 A for each motor. This model is accompanied by a range of header pin and terminal block options, which are included but not pre-soldered.
The Motoron M2S series of dual high-power motor controller shields simplifies the process of independently controlling two bidirectional, brushed DC motors with an Arduino or a compatible board. Unlike most motor drivers and motor driver shields, the Motoron does not necessitate any PWM outputs or timers on your Arduino. Instead, the Arduino communicates with the Motoron using I²C, thus only requiring two I/O lines.
The M2S24v16 shield is compatible with motor supply voltages from 6.5 V to 40 V and can deliver continuous output currents up to 16 A per motor. This shield is distinguishable from other M2S shields by its larger discrete MOSFETs and the number 100 on top of the tall silver electrolytic capacitors.
This model is a kit that includes, but does not pre-solder, the following connectors: Two 1x8 stackable female headers, one 1x6 stackable female headers, three 2-pin 5mm screw terminal blocks, two 1x20 male headers. This board is also available with connectors pre-soldered, or as a standalone board without connectors.
The Motoron M2S24v16 Dual High-Power Motor Controller Shield boasts features and specifications such as two motor control channels for independent control of up to two bidirectional brushed DC motors, reverse-voltage protection on motor power supply, a logic voltage range of 3.0 V to 5 V, control interface: I²C clock speed: up to 400 kHz, configurable motion parameters, current sensing, configurable hardware current limiting, command timeout feature, configurable automatic error response, motor power supply (VIN) voltage measurement, two status LEDs, and motor direction indicator LEDs.
The Motoron Arduino library simplifies the process of using the Motoron with an Arduino or a compatible controller. The MOSFETs can handle large current spikes for short durations, and the driver’s current chopping will keep the average current under the set limit. The actual current you can deliver will depend on how well you can keep the motor driver cool. The driver’s printed circuit board is designed to draw heat out of the MOSFETs, but performance can be improved by adding a heat sink or air flow.
For high-current installations, it is recommended to solder the motor and power supply wires directly instead of going through the 5mm blue terminal blocks, which are rated for up to 16 A.

Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from the Site, you may request a return within 30 days from the delivery date, unless the product is listed under the Return Exceptions below or is subject to specific return conditions noted on the product page.
Please review the Return Conditions, Return Exceptions and the process on How to Request a Return Authorization (RA) before initiating a return request.
Returns under this policy concern non-defective products. In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, remedies are handled under the Warranty terms, at RoboItchi's discretion. See the Warranty section.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day return policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
- A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product. Returns without an RA number will be refused.
- The RA number is valid for 30 days. The returned item must be received within that period.
- The RA number must be included with the return.
- Products must be returned in unused, unmodified condition (e.g., no scratches, alterations, missing parts, or signs of installation/use) and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of a product confirmed defective through RoboItchi's troubleshooting process or of a verified shipping error by RoboItchi.
- Refunds are processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.
- A ¥10,000 cleaning fee may apply to domestic robots returned in used or unclean condition.
- A 20% restocking fee may apply to large-quantity returns of items ordered specifically for the customer from the manufacturer or not part of RoboItchi's standard inventory.
Return Exceptions
The following products are not eligible for return or refund under this policy:
- Used, damaged, or modified products — Items that show signs of use, wear, or alteration, making them unsuitable for resale.
- Consumables — Use and wear-and-tear components, altered or depleted through use (e.g., batteries, belts, brushes, gears, filament, tires, disposable bags, lubricants, greases, waxes, etc.). Not eligible for return once opened or used.
