  • With unsoldered Connectors
  • Effortlessly controls up to three DC motors independently
  • Compatible with motor supply voltages from 4.5V to 48V
  • Includes a variety of header pin and terminal block options
  • Features configurable motion parameters and automatic error response

The Motoron M3H256 Triple Motor Controller Kit for Raspberry Pi (w/ Connectors) is engineered to facilitate the effortless control of DC motors via a Raspberry Pi (Model B+ or newer) through an I²C interface. Each module is capable of independently managing up to three motors, and for projects requiring control of a larger number of motors, multiple Motoron boards can be stacked atop the same Raspberry Pi. The M3H256 is compatible with motor supply voltages ranging from 4.5 V to 48 V and is capable of delivering continuous output currents of up to 2 A per motor. This version comes with a range of header pin and terminal block options, which are included but not pre-soldered.

The Motoron M3H256 add-on board simplifies the process of controlling up to three bidirectional, brushed DC motors with a compatible Raspberry Pi (Model B+ or newer). It is designed to stack on top of a Raspberry Pi (Model B+ or newer), akin to a HAT (Hardware Attached on Top), and multiple Motoron controllers can be stacked on top of each other, enabling independent control of a multitude of motors. The Motoron does not necessitate any PWM outputs on the Raspberry Pi. Instead, the Raspberry Pi communicates with the Motoron using I²C, requiring only two GPIO pins, regardless of the number of Motorons connected.

This version of the Motoron is a kit that comes with the following connectors, which are included but not pre-soldered: Two 1x10 stackable female headers (or one 2x10 header), four 2-pin 3.5 mm, four 2-pin 5 mm screw terminal blocks, one 1x25 breakaway male header. It also includes a set of two M2.5 standoffs (11 mm length), screws, and nuts that can be used to secure the board at the appropriate height for the GPIO connector.

The kit includes more connectors than can be soldered to the board, offering different assembly options to accommodate a variety of applications. Additional connector options are available separately, and wires can also be soldered directly to the board for more compact installations.
