The Parallax PING))) Mounting Bracket Kit with Servo includes the servo, the aluminum brackets and complete hardware to mount a Ping on the front of the Boe-Bot (or any robot). The Ping ultrasonic sensor allows your BASIC Stamp to perform a quick 180-degree environmental scan in order to identify the distance and location of obstacles. With this information you can effectively navigate the path with few obstructions. This kit from the Parallax is to encourage robot enthusiasts to experiment with the Ping ultrasonic sensor.
