The Phidget Interface Kit 0/0/8 offers small signal relays with eight relay outputs, rated at a combination of 250VAC or 2 Amps, up to a maximum of 60 Watts. Unlike typical mechanical relay boards that struggle to switch signals due to oxide buildup on the contacts, the 1017 model excels in switching both signals and low-power applications. The 1017_2 can be connected via USB or to a VINT Hub using a Phidget cable.

Please note that these relays cannot be switched at maximum current and maximum voltage simultaneously. It is essential to ensure that the total power of the load does not exceed the switching power of the relay. For instance, the relays can be switched at 200 V DC and 0.3 A (60 W) or 30 V DC and 2 A (60 W), but not at 200 V DC and 2 A (400 W).
