very good quality

good email communication about status. Quick delivery Zumo is easy to build. E.g. 2x Pololu 100:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor HP fit perfectly. Integrated 4x AA battery holder at bottom is very clever and handy. I was not sure 100:1 Gearmotor would be too slow, but it is more than fast enough (75:1 might have been be too fast)

Compact but solid

Assembled. Just need to add electronics. Looking forward to doing that.

Love it

I designed and built a remote control tank using this, 2 x Pololu gear motors, MSP430G2553 and a Pololu dual DC motor driver. It works very well and has quite a bit of power due to the gearmotor. I can push heavy boxes around the floor and close doors using the tank. The only negative is that it doesn't provide double sided adhesive so that you can attach the 2 final battery connections. It also does not make any mention of how to deal with this in the manual so it can be quite confusing.

Great design, easy to alter

I ordered this but couldn't find a properly detailed schematic on this site, so I had to trawl through the makers site to find a proper schematic. That's when I discovered that the servos I was going to use not only wouldn't fit (kinda expected that), but that the servo compartments are on top instead of with the battery compartment underneath. I was going to cut into the battery compartment to fit in the servos as I have a different power supply, but now couldn't. It's fine though, I was easily able to cut bits off and attach my servos in a different way which has benefited me. Very easy to use, build, and alter. Wheels and tracks are well designed.

Good Traction

I was looking for a wheelt that doesn't slip and this one does the job. The traction is better than my expectation.
