Includes 35A continuous per channel
Features Flip Control for flips
Offers advanced calibration settings
Supports 7-36V battery voltage
The Robot Power Scorpion Ultra Dual Channel R/C Motor Controller 35A, 7-36V is a versatile and high-performance motor controller designed for medium to large mobile robots, including competition firefighting robots, sumo robots, and robotic combat applications. It is capable of handling robots weighing up to 150 pounds, provided the motor current limits are adhered to. Additionally, the Scorpion Ultra is suitable for various other applications such as controlling lights, hydraulic valves, and other static non-robotic uses.
This motor controller offers a continuous current of 35A per channel, with a peak of 70A, and can achieve 50A continuous current with fan cooling. It operates within a battery voltage range of 7.0V to 36V. The device features full current limiting and over-temperature protection, ensuring robust performance and reliability. The Scorpion Ultra includes two R/C input leads and a pin header for steering or throttle control, with fully reversible H-bridge channels.
The controller is equipped with several advanced features, including Flip Control, which reverses controls if the robot is flipped over, and indicator LEDs for speed and direction. It offers options for channel mixing or separate channel control, as well as brake/coast at zero speed and linear/exponential steering response. The low-frequency motor PWM option allows for more power or silent operation, depending on the frequency setting.
A switching-style 5V regulator is integrated to eliminate battery voltage concerns and provide increased current for modern radio receivers. The receiver battery eliminator circuit (BEC) can supply up to 200 mA of current at 5V to the RC receiver and other electronic circuits. The failsafe feature ensures motor shutdown if the R/C signal is lost, and a calibration function allows for precise matching to the radio or signal source, with settings stored in EEPROM.
The Scorpion Ultra is built around a FLASH-based microcontroller with upgradeable software via an in-circuit programming header. Remote power switch connections enable the unit to be turned off without disconnecting the main power. An optional plastic enclosure is available to protect the device from environmental contamination.

If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from the Site, you may request a return within 30 days from the delivery date, unless the product is listed under the Return Exceptions below or is subject to specific return conditions noted on the product page.
Returns under this policy concern non-defective products. In the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, remedies are handled under the Warranty terms, at RoboItchi's discretion. See the Warranty section.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the 30-day return policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
A valid Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product. Returns without an RA number will be refused.
The RA number is valid for 30 days. The returned item must be received within that period.
The RA number must be included with the return.
Products must be returned in unused, unmodified condition (e.g., no scratches, alterations, missing parts, or signs of installation/use) and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of a product confirmed defective through RoboItchi's troubleshooting process or of a verified shipping error by RoboItchi.
Refunds are processed within 7 days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.
A ¥10,000 cleaning fee may apply to domestic robots returned in used or unclean condition.
A 20% restocking fee may apply to large-quantity returns of items ordered specifically for the customer from the manufacturer or not part of RoboItchi's standard inventory.
Return Exceptions
The following products are not eligible for return or refund under this policy:
Used, damaged, or modified products — Items that show signs of use, wear, or alteration, making them unsuitable for resale.
Consumables — Use and wear-and-tear components, altered or depleted through use (e.g., batteries, belts, brushes, gears, filament, tires, disposable bags, lubricants, greases, waxes, etc.). Not eligible for return once opened or used.
Perishables — Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Not eligible for return.
