The ServoCity 12V Heavy-Duty Linear Actuator (225lb Thrust, 0.3"/sec, 8" Stroke) is engineered for robust performance, delivering a dynamic thrust of 225 pounds. It operates at a speed of 0.3 inches per second with an 8-inch stroke, making it suitable for applications requiring precise linear motion. The actuator is powered by a 3 Pole Ferrite motor and features a metal gear train with a nylon pinion, ensuring durability and reliability. It incorporates a straight cut spur gearbox with a 30:1 gear ratio, allowing for efficient power transmission. The device functions within a voltage range of 6V to 12V and is equipped with a 10KΩ potentiometer for feedback, providing a feedback density of 1.25KΩ per inch and a potentiometer linearity of ± 0.25%. With an IP54 rating, the actuator is protected against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for various environments. The duty cycle is set at 25% on and 75% off, optimizing performance and longevity.
