The Sherline 2-Axis Manual Machine Slide (Metric) is a precision-engineered tool designed for meticulous machining tasks. Constructed primarily from 6061-T6 aluminum, it features a durable black anodized finish, ensuring both strength and resistance to wear. This machine slide is equipped with a metric leadscrew, which is precision rolled from steel to ensure accuracy and reliability. The leadscrew backlash is adjustable, allowing for fine-tuning to achieve optimal performance. The dovetailed tables and saddles are fitted with adjustable gibs, which serve to eliminate any play, thereby maintaining the precision of the machining process.
The slide includes 2-inch industrial handwheels, which are graduated in 0.01 mm increments, providing precise control over movements.
