Invenscience LC introduces the Torxis High Torque Direct Drive Pan / Tilt Assembly (w/ Servos). It combines our proven Torxis i00600 servos with our metal servo couplings and special programming. A variety of hole patterns provide many attachment options for your equipment. Like our other servos, these use an all metal gears and double roller bearings on the hardened 3/8" output shafts. The RC PWM control signal input makes it easy to control with RC radio, a micro-controller or 2 axis joystick controller. Add a torxis power supply for out of the box motion. A great foundation for robot arm projects or positioning machines. The 0.125 inch thick mounting flange and aluminum main housings makes the unit rugged enough for the rigors of the factory environment.

Well made, great for Honors Senior Thesis

I'm a mechanical engineering student, and I made a wind turbine testing rig including this assembly for my Honors Senior Thesis. Everything was very easy to use right out of box. The only slight setback was that these motors do not work directly with Arduino's servo toolbox. I set my own PWM scale after sampling a few desired angles to get my inputs to match my outputs (I'm not motor expert but this got the job done). These also aren't perfect where highly precise angles are necessary - there is a good amount of wiggle for each increment. Perfect for my use though. Overall, great product!
