The UCTRONICS Ultimate Starter Learning Kit for Arduino MEGA is especially designed for Arduino MEGA2560. With this kit, you can learn how to program with Arduino IDE to develop many interesting projects. You don’t need to solder the pins by yourself, just connect the circuit by DuPont cables to breadboard. The tutorial book of 33 lessons includes introduction of components, code library, schematic, dedicated wiring diagram, detailed steps of operation and experimental result.
The kit includes an Instruction Booklet, a MEGA 2560 R3, an ESP8266 Module, a 1602 LCD, a NE555 Timer, RTC Module, a Water Lever Sensor, a Sound Sensor Module, etc.
Great assortment of parts to give you a sandbox of experiments
There is a great assortment of parts included that allows you to experiment as you go. While it may not have exactly what you need, there will be something similar enough to gain a proof of concept before buying other smaller components. The value is great for what you get, and includes quite a few things you may not think to order at a given point in time. My only complaint is that the included tutorial booklet only shows you how to do the hardwire portion of the "lessons" and not any of the coding behind it. You are told to upload the pre-written code. FWIW, the lesson explanations are great besides that, as they describe what the circuit does and how. Overall I liked this kit so much I ordered another one to help others learn how to start building with Arduino as well!

Decent Purchase, Not Perfect
For 90$ this is still a pretty good buy considering how many components you're getting. But when it comes to the book, the instructions are very sub par, they just show a wiring schematic and a brief description of what the component in question does. No help regarding code and for the wiring schematic itself, its pretty unclear for things like the motor driver where the orientation of how you wire it does matter. I got around this by just looking up the schematic to the individual components online, and the coding wasn't that hard, but for most people I think they would expect to find these sort of things in the book. The stepper motor I received does not work, it can't go faster than 6 rpm (abysmally slow), otherwise it just locks up and/or skips steps (it was sent to me damaged). Other than that, its a great buy! Everything wrapped in nice esd safe material and great price value. Would give 5 stars if not for the broken stepper motor and the sub par instructions.

Awesome Starter Kit for the price
I found this awesome as someone who wanted to start doing more personal projects. I have been following along to a YouTube series by Paul McWhorter who uses a similar kit. My only complaint so far is that the stepper motor appears quite unconventional, as my impression was that using the stepper motor library was sufficient to run it. This wasn't the case, but the Arduino code on Github helped me figure it out. Other than that, the shipping was fast and this is definitely a great kit for someone wanting to get started.
