The Waveshare Industrial USB to Quad RS485 Converter, CH344L, Multi-OS Support is a robust communication device that incorporates the original CH344L chip for fast, stable, and reliable data transmission with enhanced compatibility. This converter facilitates the expansion of multiple RS485 industrial serial devices through a single USB connection. It features integrated power supply and digital isolation to ensure signal integrity and reliability, with strong anti-interference capabilities and low power consumption.

The device is equipped with a Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) to effectively protect against surges and spikes in the circuit, as well as self-recovery fuse and protection diodes to maintain stable current and voltage outputs, thereby enhancing its shockproof performance. Additionally, it includes 120R resistors for RS485 output terminals, which can be enabled or disabled via a DIP switch, and 10 LEDs to indicate power, device configuration, and transceiver status.

Encased in an industrial-grade metal with an aluminium alloy finish, the converter is not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable.
