The Waveshare Industrial USB to RS232 4-Channel Converter w/ FT4232HL Chip is a robust communication device designed to facilitate the expansion of multiple RS232 industrial serial devices through a USB interface. It features the original FT4232HL chip, ensuring fast, stable, and reliable communication with enhanced compatibility across various operating systems, including MacOS, Linux, Android, and various versions of Windows.

This converter boasts an integrated unibody power supply and digital isolation, providing stable isolated voltage and signal isolation, which contributes to high reliability and strong anti-interference capabilities with low power consumption. The device is equipped with a Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) for effective suppression of surge voltage and transient spike voltage, offering lightning and ESD protection. Additionally, it includes self-recovery fuses and protection diodes that ensure stable current and voltage outputs, as well as over-current and over-voltage protection, enhancing its shockproof performance.

The converter is encased in a durable aluminum alloy enclosure, which has been treated with sandblasting and anodic oxidation for a solid and robust finish. It also features nine LEDs that serve as indicators for power and transceiver status, providing visual feedback on the operation of the device.
